Police Life Insurance - Non-Sworn
Being a member of the Police is challenging and rewarding.
The Non-sworn Police Life Insurance policy provides a complete life insurance cover.
The policy provides non-sworn members with:
- 24 hours a day cover.
- A lump sum benefit in the event of your death.
- Administered by Police Welfare Fund Insurances Limited, the cover is underwritten by American International Assurance (AIA), one of the largest Life and Disability Insurers in the world.
Cover provided
Death Benefit
24-hour cover. In the event of your death the benefit set out under Benefits Payable is provided.
Premium Rate
$6.00 per fortnight.

Term of Cover
Unless terminated prior, cover ceases for all Insured Persons on their 65th birthday or their last day of duty in the New Zealand Police.
