This year’s New Zealand Police Remembrance Day services will be held at 11am on Monday, September 29 – the feast day of Saint Michael, the patron saint of police.
The national service will be held at the Royal New Zealand Police College and services of remembrance will also be held in districts. During the services, recently deceased former Police staff will be one of the groups remembered.
The Police organising committee would like to know of any former staff (constabulary or Police employees) who have died since August 2024. Email: NZPMemorial@police.govt.nz. If possible, include the last station or workplace the person worked at and, if applicable, their rank when they left Police.
If you have any questions about the Remembrance Day national service, email the above address and a committee member will contact you.
